How the city works
This fictional Springfield has a seven-member City Council and a professional City Manager. Council sets priorities and the City Manager oversees daily services.
Council meetings
Regular meetings take place on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at City Hall. The calendar lists the demonstration events and their locations.
City departments
Public Works looks after streets and collection services. Parks and Recreation supports community activities. Planning coordinates development and permits.
